Render is an application hosting platform with web and private services, background workers, cron jobs, static sites, PostgreSQL, and Redis-compatible Key Value services. Deployment and operations are managed through its platform.
Services run on per-service compute plans. The published catalog describes platform services and instance resources; it is not a like-for-like dedicated VPS offer. Static sites have no compute plan. Web-service compute plans publish CPU/RAM options, with service-type differences.
Billing and pricing
The pricing page lists workspace subscriptions: Hobby $0/month, Pro $25/month, Scale $499/month, and Enterprise custom, plus compute and metered features. Paid service compute is charged per service and prorated by the second; metered bandwidth and other features can add charges. The Free option has limits: free web services have ephemeral local filesystems and free Postgres databases expire after 30 days. Recheck current pricing and service-specific terms before purchase.
Regions and availability
The platform publishes region selection in its documentation. Exact service availability depends on service type and selected region; this profile does not claim live capacity.
Support
Documentation and service health information are available through Render. The plan comparison should be checked for current support inclusions; no response-time claim is made.
Before you buy
Workspace subscriptions, compute, bandwidth, persistent disks, and datastore pricing are separate components. Free instances are intended for testing and have durability/usage limits. No single monthly price represents all deployments.
Counts describe the records published on HostCritiq, not every offer Render sells. Prices can differ by billing term, region, currency and tax. Open a plan for its full terms.
