About Supabase

Products and scope

Free, Pro, Team and Enterprise plans combine platform features with project compute and usage allowances. Supabase combines a PostgreSQL project with authentication, storage, realtime connections and functions. The database is only one part of the platform budget: active users, transfer and file storage have different allowances. A paid organization subscription includes a compute credit, while additional projects and larger compute choices can increase the total. This makes project count important when separating development, production and customer deployments. Free-project pausing is also a behavior to plan around, not just a pricing label. For a user-upload application, estimate file storage and downloads separately from database growth. For an authentication-heavy service, count active users under the relevant billing rules. The hosted service differs from running Supabase’s software on your own server, where you take on the operational work. Compare the managed features you need and each consumed resource before treating a base subscription as the whole hosting cost.

Billing and pricing

Pro starts at US$25 per month and includes US$10 in monthly compute credit. Compute is billed hourly; extra projects, larger instances and usage overages can increase the bill. The base subscription is not an unlimited hosting package.

Regions and availability

Check the available project regions and service requirements before creating a project.

Support

Free includes community support; Pro includes email support. Higher tiers have different support entitlements.

Before you buy

Free projects pause after a week of inactivity and are limited to two active projects. Pro lists daily backups kept for seven days. Supabase is a managed backend, not a root-access server.

Counts describe the records published on HostCritiq, not every offer Supabase sells. Prices can differ by billing term, region, currency and tax. Open a plan for its full terms.
