Provider profile
phoenixNAP
phoenixNAP Bare Metal Cloud supplies physical servers through cloud-style deployment tools. The service is aimed at teams that need dedicated hardware while retaining API and infrastructure-as-code workflows. A server is a whole-machine allocation, so comparisons with a small virtual instance need to account for the different resource commitment.

About phoenixNAP
Products and scope
The range includes general-purpose, compute, memory, database and AI/ML configurations. Hardware descriptions distinguish processor models, physical cores, drives and network interfaces. Intel GPU configurations appear in the AI/ML range; they should not be assumed compatible with software that requires NVIDIA CUDA. For database work, compare usable disk capacity after redundancy, the memory needed by the working set and the recovery arrangement. A network port speed is not the same measure as an included transfer allowance.
Billing and pricing
Bare Metal Cloud supports hourly consumption and reserved arrangements. Monthly equivalents for reservations should be compared with the actual commitment and cancellation terms. Include any additional storage and networking services in the deployment budget.
Regions and availability
The platform identifies Phoenix, Ashburn, Chicago, Seattle, Amsterdam and Singapore as deployment locations. Check the selected configuration in the destination location rather than assuming uniform stock.
Support
API, CLI and web administration are available, with installation and automation documentation. Establish which operating-system and application tasks your team will own.
Before you buy
Physical isolation does not provide automatic application failover. Plan another instance or recovery environment if downtime matters, and keep credentials and infrastructure definitions recoverable. Choose hardware using the application requirements rather than treating a larger core count as a measured performance advantage.
Counts describe the records published on HostCritiq, not every offer phoenixNAP sells. Prices can differ by billing term, region, currency and tax. Open a plan for its full terms.
