Provider profile

Leaseweb

Leaseweb sells Virtual Private Servers and, separately, a Public Cloud service. Public Cloud has general-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized and GPU-optimized instances, while VPS has its own packages and terms. The two are not interchangeable, so check the rate card and region for the one you want.

About Leaseweb

Products and scope

Public Cloud is a multi-tenant KVM service with SSD and NVMe storage, a customer portal and an EC2-compatible API, with instance families for general, compute, memory and GPU workloads. The separate VPS offer uses AMD EPYC processors and local NVMe, with API management, snapshots and configurable packages of up to 24 vCPUs, 120 GiB RAM and 600 GB NVMe (not every package reaches those maximums).

Billing and pricing

Public Cloud publishes hourly and monthly instance prices; its pricing page states that Linux instances include at least 5 GB root disk and Windows instances at least 50 GB, expandable to 5 TB. It describes up to 25% instance-price reduction for a 3-year term, excluding traffic. Public Cloud includes a pooled 1 TB/month outbound traffic allowance per contract; excess traffic, storage and other services have separate charges. VPS billing and package terms are shown separately by the provider.

Regions and availability

The Public Cloud rate card lists AMS-01, FRA-01, LON-01, MTL-02, WDC-02, SFO-12, TYO-11, SIN-01, LAX-12 and SYD-12. VPS locations are listed separately, so check the package you want.

Support

Leaseweb links customer support and its portal from its site. Support terms depend on the service and contract.

Before you buy

Public Cloud, VPS, GPU Cloud and dedicated servers have separate catalogs and billing, so a Public Cloud price or region does not apply to VPS. Storage, traffic and contract discounts all affect the total.
