Products and scope
The Public Cloud uses OpenStack and exposes an API for infrastructure administration. Other offerings include managed databases, Kubernetes and application-platform services. A managed Cloud Server for websites should not be confused with Public Cloud infrastructure or a Windows/Linux VPS. For a business application, list the database, persistent files, workers and networking needed before choosing between those services. GPU Cloud is a separate product: a website package or ordinary virtual instance does not establish accelerator availability. The wider portfolio includes backup services, which need their own recovery and retention arrangement.
Billing and pricing
Public Cloud uses metered resources billed at the end of the month. Its transfer policy distinguishes object storage, with charges above the published allowance. Budget the selected resources and product-specific extras rather than applying website-hosting terms to every cloud service.
Regions and availability
The hosting and Public Cloud descriptions place infrastructure in Switzerland. Confirm the relevant product and data-location agreement for a workload with residency requirements.
Support
Email, chat and telephone support are available, with premium support offered separately. Infrastructure support and maintenance of custom application code are different responsibilities.
Before you buy
An OpenStack interface can help with automation, but moving an application still requires configuration, data and access-control work. Keep independent recovery copies and record how to rebuild the stack. Data location alone does not make an application compliant with every regulatory requirement.
