Products and scope
Plans differ in included storage and repository allowance. The Small tier includes 250 GB and ten repositories, while larger tiers provide more storage and unlimited repositories. Compression and deduplication affect retained size, so source-file size is not always the same as billed backup storage. The service includes monitoring for stale backups and supports append-only access. Those tools help operate a backup workflow, but a successful upload alone does not prove you can restore the application.
Billing and pricing
Small is USD 30 per year, billed annually, with additional space at USD 0.015 per GB per month. The USD 2.50 monthly equivalent is not a monthly payment. The free allowance covers 10 GB and two repositories. VAT can be added according to the customer’s location.
Regions and availability
EU and US backup locations are offered, and different repositories can use different locations. Decide where recovery data should live independently from the location of the primary server.
Support
Email support and setup documentation cover repository use. Borg-backed tools and automation can be used with the service.
Before you buy
Encryption keys, retention and restoration remain part of your recovery procedure. Preserve credentials securely and check a restore before relying on an archive. A repository is not a live application disk, and backup storage should not be classified as GPU or general-purpose compute.
